The 2nd edition of Lanterna Mágica counts on its programming with a case study of two successful Brazilian animated series that are transmitted in Brazilian television grid and even outside the country. The activity is scheduled for the 4th day of the festival, May 26, at 10am, at Espaço Sonhus in Goiânia.
Júlio and Verne – Os Irmãos Gemiais is a creation from Goiás debuted in 2017 on TV Brasil. This year, Nat Geo Kids announced that it acquired the rights to the exhibition and the series was released on the channel in April. O Show da Luna, from São Paulo, will also be the subject of the case study. The animation, which debuted in 2014, is shown on several broadcasters, including TV Brasil and Discovery Kids. In foreign countries, NBC Kids in the United States and RTP2 in Portugal also broadcast the series.
Creators, writers and professionals involved in both productions will attend the study case. From the animation Júlio and Verne, the creator Kelly Alves (2Fly), the screenwriter Paulo Miranda (Mandra Filmes), who is also one of the judges of the festival, and the director Ricardo de Podestá. One of the creators and producer of O Show de Luna, Kiko Mistrorigo (TV PinGuim), completes the team. All activities promoted by Lanterna Mágica are free.
